The final round of the 11th Football European Championship in 2000 (UEFA EURO 2000) took place from 10 June to 2 July 2000 in Belgium and the Netherlands. At Euro 2000, there were two hosts for the first time. European champion 2000 became the team of France, who were world champions at the same time. Only 2 other teams have done the same, but in reverse order: Germany (Euro 1972 and World Cup 1974) and Spain (Euro 2008 and World Cup 2010).
